Pellet stove types include:
- Freestanding pellet stove. It can be installed anywhere as long as it has the ability to connect to a ventilation pipe and a plug socket.
2. Pellet stove inserts. Depending on the interior design of your house, you can inbuilt a stove into any appropriate wall.
3. Pellet boiler. This type of boiler is usually installed in special rooms (mainly in cellars).
The main advantages of wood pellet stoves:
- It is cost-effective when used for supplementary heating. It is an ideal decision to heat your house between seasons.
- Easy to use. Even low budget models of stoves have thermostats for automatic switch off and on together with electric igniters.
- Excellent performance. Modern high-quality pellet stoves have an efficiency of about 94%. For example, a classic wood fireplace has an efficiency of about 40–45%.
- No need for a traditional chimney. All modern pellet stoves already have 80-120 mm tubes for forced ventilation.
The main disadvantages of pellet stoves:
- It is less attractive compared to a traditional wood stove.
- Pellet bags are heavy and take up space. Usually, wood pellets are packed in 15 kg sacks.
- Need electricity for ventilation and LCD.
- It requires maintenance. The main processes that you need to do are cleaning the burner, ashtray, and heat exchanger.Example Text
